Brayden's 2nd grade Play

He played the part of the scarecrow with a whopping 17 lines! All the others had 2-4 lines other then the gardener who had 10. He remembered them all perfectly too! I'd add video but it wont let me upload it as its 18mins long.

Mill Hill Pirate

I did this piece for my son. He saw it when we were in Cross Stitch Haven and asked that I make it for him so here it is. It came with a magnet but I think I will pick up a bigger one nxt time I'm in WalMart. Which will be soon.

On call for Kalista's class party tomorrow. This wk is going to be an insanely busy wk. Class party's tomorrow for both kids. B's school play, the normal Karate & dance for the kids. We are going to the Grill Thurs I think. And I have to take B to pick out what flavor cake and icecream he wants for his bday party. Going to take them to see Gnomeo this wkend for his bday to. Depending on how the wk goes I may call and see if one of his friends can go. I so don't want to know how much the late fee for Kalista's dance because of the blizzard & snow storm is going to run. But I will just keep in mind it is better to pay the late fee then it would be getting into an accident to try to pay it on time. It's due on the 1st when the blizzard came in. So figured I'd pay it when she goes to dance nxt which will be this wk. Busy busy wk. looking fwd to breakfast with the ladies in the morn. I hope they will be there even tho its Vday. I could really use a breakfast with friends tomorrow.

Xmas button up Pillow

I finished the stitching and beading on this today 2/7/11. I will make it into a pillow case for a square pillowcase for my couch during the xmas holiday. Just waiting to see if I can Find out who stitched the angel and snowman as its not marked on the chart or the fab. LOL.

Tarot Town

Here is my Progress so far on Tarot Town. I haven't had the time to work on it since C left so Hopefully this wk I'll get to make some progress on it. Will see what the weather brings and what closes down this wk because of it. Even tho it looks solid its not. But so far its only 3 colors into it. Its just really hard to see the difference in the 3 colors.

Snow aka Blizzard 2011 as the news calls it.

It really wasn't too bad. We kept our power which is 1 out of 4 yrs of the winter storm that we have managed to. Every yr b4 now we've ALWAYS lost power from a wk to almost a month! We had a blast playing the wii and playing games around the house. We had to dig out the snow between the front door and the divider u see in the first pic. And we couldn't go anywhere for 3 days. The snow plows that cleared the major rds on both sides of our neighborhood blocked us IN and they did the rds while it was still snowing and the wind was still blowing. The neighbor boy said it was blocked up taller then him and he's 6ft! Finally a cop who was also trapped in the neighborhood and some other men got together and went and opened up the main rd out. Saturday the city brought a snowplow and cleared the other rd open leading to our neighborhood. And the other neighborhoods around here they did the same thing to.

Winter Candy Quilt Top

I have 48 of 56 blocks sewn so I started putting rows together. I only work on it here & there as it hurts my back. I have rows 1-3 sewn together & row 4 is rdy but I put it away as my back isn't agreeing with me ATM. Once that is sewn on the top will be halfway done. I had the first blocks and the first row sewn b4 this wkend. I did the rest this wkend.

I didn't get much more done but it is noticeable. I need to go buy the blue flosses as I am used them for another project haha!

Xmas Rentier Design 1 by Berendsen

Where it was when Cecil left Jan 28th. And done as of Sunday 2/6/11. This will be the top of our xmas card holder when I finish it into it lol. I have a few smaller pieces to stitch that will hold xmas cards.

Update

The kids & I catching a cold. Cecil leaving back to Korea. The kids and I adjusting to that. The kids ending up being out of school for a wk due to what Oklahoma considers a BLIZZARD HA I've seen more snow then that in normal winters up north. I haven't had much of a chance to stitch or sew. But I'm very happy with what I've gotten done. Oh we had a blast playing wii n other things on the snow days :) but I'm so happy they went to school today. They say we will get another "Blizzard" tues-weds. If we do the kids will most likely be out the rest of this wk past tues.
